What is my username and password to NYIT Blackboard system.

Your username and password is same as the NYITConnect username and password.

I do not know my username and password to NYITConnect. I never used it before.

NYITConnect is an online service. Please go to the URL below and walk through the steps to get your
username and password. You will need your NYIT student ID. The URL is https://pwreset.nyit.edu/reset/.

I lost my NYITConnect password. How do I reset it?

Please go to the NYITConnect reset page and go through the steps. The URL is https://pwreset.nyit.edu/reset/.

I tried to reset the password, but I lost my secret question.

You need to contact the Enrollment Services Center to clear your secret question. Someone from the center
will help you with the process. The email address is askesc@nyit.edu or call the office at 516-686-7878.

Why "Please wait while the module loads" message is in all Blackboard homepage boxes such as
My Announcments and My Courses?

The message is caused by browser incompatibility with Blackboard. Either you are using a very old Internet Explorer
(version 10 or lower) or Compatibility View is enabled in Internet Explorer Version 11. Possible solutions are:

* Upgrade Internet Exploere to version 11 if possible
* Disable "Compatibility View" setting
* Use FireFox or Google Chrome (Check the minimum version from the browser table above)
